Karen Camden Welsh Art for Karen is a personal expression of her love, respect and admiration for nature.. She loves the magic moments she feels when she satisfactorily creates a piece of art. Most of her recent works of art are mixed media with inks, pastels, and colored pencils. However, she also explores creating with acrylics, watercolors and oils. Animals are her most common subject matter but she also enjoys a variety of themes. Textures, high contrast, and positive-negative space creates the visual interest. She focuses on the eyes to express their personality.

Community School for the Arts (CSA) Marion, IN. invited Karen to exhibit during the month of October 2011.
Karen has exhibited in the juried shows of Honeywell, Lakeland Art Association and professional division of the Indiana State Fair.
2012 Ford Meter Box chose one of her piece for their annual art calendar. "The Grass is Always Greener..."
